Matti Malkamäki, the CEO of Aurelia Turbines, is pushing forward hydrogen technology in several Finnish companies. Yle, the Finnish Broadcasting Company, published a story about another hydrogen technology company, Hydrogenius. Malkamäki is the Chairman of the Board in Hyrdogenius.

Hydrogenius has developed a method to produce low-carbon hydrogen, tells Yle based on an interview with Malkamäki. The thermocatalytic process generates pure hydrogen from natural gas or biogas by removing carbon, leaving hydrogen.

Carbon can be used as a raw material in the battery and electronics industries, for example.
