Aurelia’s newest A400 turbine has started its journey from Lappeenranta to its operational site in Mexico. The journey will take several weeks by sea freight. The destination of the turbine is the state of Queretaro, a 2-hour drive from the country’s capitol.

The turbine will be delivered to a grower of high-quality cucumbers destined for the export market. The A400 will help enhance the yield of production and aid in reducing parasites.

The location of the business in an area with warm weather but temperatures can drop sharply at night during certain times of the year. The A400 will be used to heat the crops during cold nights and help maintain a constant temperature for steady growth.

The farm uses traditional fuels but with the clean emissions from the A400, the exhaust gases from the turbine can be used to grow crops.
