We are thrilled to announce our continued backing of HotGreen Solutions as they successfully close an acceleration round, expanding their pre-seed funding to drive the next stage of their growth and commercialization.
As early believers in HotGreen Solutions’ mission to decarbonize industrial heat, First Imagine is delighted to re-invest alongside Empirical Ventures, while welcoming Ponderosa Ventures (part of the New York-based Galvanize platform) to the cap table. Ponderosa’s participation marks a major transatlantic milestone for the company and serves as a strong signal of international investor confidence in their technology and market potential.
Accelerating Industrial Heat Decarbonization
Industrial heating represents one of the largest and most challenging sources of global carbon emissions. HotGreen Solutions is directly addressing this hurdle with its ultra-efficient, high-temperature heat pump technology, engineered to help energy-intensive industrial facilities significantly slash energy costs and reduce carbon footprints.
This new injection of capital will directly fund:
Commercial deployments and scaling efforts, with a primary focus on the food and beverage sector.
Pilot project expansions to prove out high-efficiency heat delivery in real-world industrial environments.
Non-Dilutive Grant Support from Innovate UK
Adding further momentum to this milestone, HotGreen Solutions has been awarded an Innovate UK Investor Partnerships grant. This non-dilutive funding, granted alongside the investment round, validates both the technical rigor of their high-temperature heat pump architecture and its strategic economic value to the UK’s broader decarbonization roadmap.
